The Ministry for the Ecological Transition and demographic challenge, through the General Directorate of Energy Policy and Mines, has granted the Candesa Group a subsidy for the line of aid for the year 2021 of “Mining safety material investment projects”. The aid consists of several lines of aid on investments made to improve the prevention and safety of mining facilities and machinery.
They have been granted to three companies of the Group: Canteras de Santander, Aridos y Hormigones del Deva and Hormigones del Sella, for the investments made in 2021. These are improvements in aggregate production, screening and crushing facilities, as well as improvement of heavy mobile machinery for our quarries in Cantabria and Asturias. The amounts invested are around 1.1 million euros and are framed within the continuous improvement of production systems and above all, in the improvement of prevention and occupational safety conditions.
